Here at thegeckokid.com we purchased our first leopard gecko for our son when he was only three years old. Since the day we brought that gecko home we have all been hooked on them ever since. We have been into many types of reptiles for some time but leopard geckos seem to top the charts for us for many reasons including the variety of morphs available to their easy and simple care. They do make wonderful pets. Leopard geckos are definitely a part of our family, everyone here is involved.

I'm the reason this whole thing got started. I got into geckos when I was 3 years old when my Dad found a lizard in his shop. My Dad's shop just happened to be located near a wholesale reptile shop. It must have escaped. I did research on them with my Mom and quickly found out it is a leopard gecko and how neat they are. I have had a love for them ever since that first one came home. I ended up naming him Chocolate and he is still my favorite even though we have hatched some amazing Leos. My Mom and Dad help me run this site and help me take good care them when I can't since I am either in school or have kid obligations to tend to.
